Holmen High School tennis player and frequent participant of the Green Island Tennis Tournaments, Hailey Olson, completed a Gold Award project for the Girl Scouts!
A Gold Award is the highest award and requires the Girl Scout to solve a problem in her community, make it sustainable, complete 80 hours of service, and make a widespread impact.
Hailey's project included: installing a tennis backboard and four new benches at the Holmen tennis courts; hosting a tennis clinic for 10 Holmen Middle School students; and created a How-to guide to make tennis backboard.
Hailey received donations from Wisconsin Building Supply and Holmen Athletics Booster Club to complete her project!
**Thank you Hailey for your service to our tennis community!
